Project
Built in 1947, this building served as an authentic cattle barn at the time. The structure has two floors and was in need of complete renovation. Given the enormous amount of space, the owners came up with the idea of turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. To make the most of the site's potential, a automation was the ideal complement. Managing and controlling guest comfort is always a top priority for B&B establishments.
Thanks to the system' s home automation solutions Domintell, the owners have found the ideal supplier for their 2019 renovation project.
Solutions
Lighting automation was the priority for optimum comfort and well-being for visitors. As a result, motion detectors now operate to control the lighting on entering and exiting the rooms. In addition, a dedicated touch-screen button has been installed in each room so that residents can select their preferred lighting ambience. Global control of light sources was then configured on a master touchscreen to give owners an overview of all light sources so they could take action if necessary. In this way, owners can not only adapt rooms to the needs of each guest, but also manage the building's energy consumption.
