The "Pere San" market, also known as the "Mercat Vell", is located in the historic center of Sant Cugat del Vallés, in the Plaça de Sant Pere, five minutes from the Royal Monastery of Sant Cugat. This modern-style market was inaugurated in 1911 and is a true jewel of this Catalan town's architectural heritage. Changes in the leisure and consumer habits of city dwellers have necessitated a complete modernization of the site and a change in its operating criteria, which have ensured its continued commercial activity. Sant Cugat's new "Mercat Vell" has become a place for gourmets to buy, eat, discover and share local gastronomy.
Solutions
Domintell It integrates control of the motorized façade "brise-soleils", the ventilation system, supervision of the air-conditioning system, interior lighting of the hall and common areas, and decorative LED lighting on the façade. A Master DGQG02 module is used to manage all automation, as well as relay and shutter control modules, and a lighting color control module. The entire market can be managed locally or remotely, thanks to the Domintell Pilot application installed on several smartphones and tablets. This provides a degree of flexibility in building management, eliminating the need for on-site management and maintenance personnel.
