The Horus art gallery in Sint-Martens-Latem has been equipped with the Domintell system for several years. As the level of sophistication in terms of lighting quality in an art gallery is much more demanding than in a conventional installation, the owner was looking for a solution that would enable her to create the ideal atmospheres.
As the quality of the lighting can sometimes be as important as the work itself, the choice was quickly made to use the . automation. With its ability to configure lighting moods at will, the Domintell system was an obvious choice.
What's more, this atypical art gallery also includes visits to everyday rooms in which works of art are integrated, so that art can be appreciated in a familiar setting. In this gallery, for example, the Domintell system is used in a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, to illuminate works of art. The automation also operates here to automate the building, with central control of the premises via a main touch screen, giving an overview of the general state of the art gallery.
It was important for my gallery to be able to create different lighting moods to better highlight the works on display. So, from one exhibition to the next, I can choose from among my configurations what will work best. Also, everything can be activated at the touch of a button, even the night mode when I close the gallery, where the shutters are also automated. In fact, I've equipped my other two galleries with the same system, to make my configurations even easier.
