Covered market of Sant Cugat del Vallés

The "Pere San" market, also known as "Mercat Vell", is located in the historic centre of Sant Cugat del Vallés, in the Plaça de Sant Pere, five minutes from the Royal Monastery of Sant Cugat. This modern-style market was inaugurated in 1911 and is a real jewel in the architectural heritage of this Catalan town. The changes in the leisure and consumption habits of the city's inhabitants have made it necessary to completely modernise the site and change its operating criteria, which has perpetuated its commercial activity. The new "Mercat Vell" in Sant Cugat has become a space for gourmets to buy, eat, discover and share the local gastronomy.

Domintell integrates the control of the motorised "brise-soleil" of the facades, the ventilation system, the supervision of the air-conditioning system, the interior lighting of the hall, the common areas and the decorative LED lighting in the facade. A DGQG02 Master module is used to manage all the automation, as well as modules for relay control, shutters and a module for colour control of the lighting. The entire market can be managed locally or remotely using the Domintell Pilot application installed on several smartphones and tablets.
